This is a comprehensive itinerary that will take you into Kenya’s wild north, the game rich Masai Mara and the beautiful white sands of Diani Beach. The north of Kenya offers a rugged and spectacular landscape with excellent game viewing and guided walking. In the Mara expect to enjoy some outstanding game viewing across the majestic plains and grassland. Finally, Diani Beach on the southern coast offers an ideal location to relax and unwind after your safari.

3 Hours Before Flight Time
Kenya’s rich wildlife and immense landscapes are, quite simply, iconic. The oft-pictured imagery of an African safari comes to life as you traverse the sprawling plains of the Maasai Mara or drive in the legendary shadow of Mount Kilimanjaro. The country’s prolific wildlife offers incomparable opportunities to observe these magnificent creatures up close in their natural habitats.
From the sparking beaches of the Indian Ocean through to its vibrant cities, and out into the unspoiled bush, Kenya has something special to offer both newcomers and older ‘safari hands’.
You’ll be transferred from the Nairobi Airport to Giraffe Manor, a boutique hotel set on private land that is home to a number of endangered Rothschild giraffes.
Today you have at leisure spending your time at Giraffe Manor. You can relax in the gardens and just enjoy being with these very special creatures.
This morning you will be taken to Wilson Aerodrome for your flight north to Samburu. A driver guide will meet you on arrival and take you on a game drive back to your lodge. Settle in and enjoy the superb views before heading off for your first taste of safari this afternoon.
Enjoy a full day on safari from Saruni Samburu today. There are two activities available each day and you can choose whether to head off on a traditional game drive, night drive or walking safari.
Game drives are a great way to explore further afield and see some of the bigger game, whereas the walks are a good chance to learn more about the smaller creatures in the ecosystem, enjoying the birdlife and tracking animals by their footprints.
This morning after breakfast, you will have time for a short game drive on your way back to the airstrip for your flight south to the Masai Mara. After lunch, once you’ve settled in, you can head out on an afternoon safari activity and start exploring this fantastic conservancy.
On safari in the Mara. You can enjoy morning and afternoon game drives from your camp as well as short walking safaris, night game drives and sundowners out in the bush. As the camp is situated in a private conservancy within the Mara the number of camps and vehicles here is strictly limited giving you by far the best safari experience away from the busier areas of the park.
The Masai Mara is big cat country so keep your eyes peeled for lion, cheetah and of course the very elusive leopard.
Another day exploring more of the Mara from Asilia Naboisho Camp. The guides here are superb and will be keen to ensure you see as much as possible during your time! If there is certain wildlife in particular that you’re keen to see, do let your guide know so they can try to take you to the right areas.
Today you will depart from the Mara by light aircraft for the coast. On arrival you will be met and transferred the short distance to your beach hotel where you can relax and unwind after your safari.
Today you can simply relax on the beach after your safari and do as much or as little as you like.
Today you might like to head into Diani and spend some time exploring the lovely little shops and numerous great restaurants in the area.
During your stay you may want to arrange to go snorkelling. You can take a trip in a traditional wooden dhow to the coral reef just off coast where you can enjoy exploring the beautiful underwater life.
Your final day at leisure on the coast. You may wish to indulge in a relaxing spa treatment or simply chill out on the beach.
